Sevilla strengthened their side acquiring Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes
Sevilla will return to their favourite tournament Europa League after the gap of two seasons. They are making sure they goes as favourite to lift the trophy for the sixth time. They acquired Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes to strengthen their side.
Football Espana reports, “Quincy Promes arrived in Seville on Thursday and watched their Europa League qualification against Sigma Olomouc from the stands before completing a medical on Friday. The deal initially didn’t go well as the player didn’t agree with the personal terms. Dutch international wanted €3 million net salary, but it was agreed €3 million gross after the acquisition of his services for €21 million from Spartak Moscow. Now, it’s all sorted out.”
Sevilla interest in Prmoes comes from their Champions League 5-1 lost against Moscow last season. He scored a brace against the Andalusian side. He has a very impressive record as a winger scoring 59 goals in 115 appearances for Spartak in Russian Premier League.
Pablo Machin side is looking good after the acquisition of Quincy Promes. They have a solid foundation at back in Tomas vaclik as goalkeeper. four good central-defenders in Joris Gnagnon, Simon Kjaer, Sergi Gomez, and Daniel Carrico.
Andalusian side have got left-back and right-back pairing of Sergio Escuedro and Gabriel Mercado. They have also got good backup in Guilherme Arana and Aleix Vidal.
