Paul Pogba hints leaving Manchester United in January transfer window

Manchester United may not be winning games, but they know how to be in news. There is everything to talk about them; from losing games against Brighton and Tottenham Hotspur to taking about dismissal of executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, sacking of Jose Mourinho in upcoming weeks to Paul Pogba’s unhappiness at the club. You hardly get that many of things to report about one club at the same time. And now, when it feels things are improving at United after victory against Burnley, these international breaks helped in resurfacing their problems.

Paul Pogba who is on his international duty with France national side for the first time after winning World Cup in summer has hinted leaving Manchester United in January transfer window.

Pogba told Sky Sports Germany as Mirror reports, “There was a lot of talk, but it was just like that. I’m under contract in Manchester; my future is currently in Manchester. I still have a contract, I’m playing there at the moment, but who knows what will happen in the next few months.”

What will happen in the next few months … it’s a clear indication that French star is not happy at Manchester United. However, he adds that he has no problem with coach Jose Mourinho.

He said, “We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right. One thing I can assure you – I will always give 100%, no matter which coach. I always give everything for United – I can’t say anymore.”

Manchester United’s most expensive player has clearly expressed his feelings. He wasn’t allowed to make a move to Barcelona over the summer and he’s not happy about it.

Barcelona players have publicly shown their affection for former Juventus star. They are constantly making comments in media, how much they’ll be happy if Paul Pogba joins them at Camp Nou.

Luis Suarez told RAC1, “Pogba is an elite player who has won everything. He has a lot of quality and he’s one of the references at United. I think he’d like to be competing for more than he is at the moment. He is not a player that belongs to Barca, but he would always be welcome.”

Gerard Pique was also positive about the prospect of Paul Pogba joining them at Barcelona in the future. He said as Sky Sports reports, “We would be happy to have him here. I know little about what he’s going through in Manchester and the relationship that exists [between Mourinho & Pogba]. He is a very good player, but a Manchester United player right now and we’ll see if something happens in the future.”

Well, summer transfer window is closed now but there is going to be big movements in January transfer window this season as well. There is no restrictions on new players signings to play in UEFA Champions League later stages even if they have represented a different club at group stage.

All moves are welcomed this January. Even, it’s is expected that this season, January transfer window will be more appealing for the clubs than summer transfer window. Barcelona must be ready with their funds if they want to acquire the French champion.

As Pogba has hinted, he is ready to make a move to his new destination. But, Barcelona alone is not lined up for the Frenchman. Juventus, PSG, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, etc also eyeing a big money move for the French midfielder.
