Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs are ready to take a gamble betting on Gareth Bale. Real Madrid star is not enjoying his best of time at Santiago Bernabeu due to his consistent injuries. He has missed more games for Real Madrid than he played during his stay in Spanish capital, and his injury laden career will prove to be a gamble for his new club.
Daily Mirror reports, “Real Madrid are paving the way to sell Wales star Gareth Bale. The Premier League giants like Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are on alert as Real Madrid hierarchy have become increasingly frustrated with his injuries.”
The £85 million star has a long list of injuries since he joined the 12 time Uefa Champions League winners. He has suffered 300 days of injuries as a Real Madrid player in his fifth season as he suffered latest blow in abductor muscle.
Bale has earned three Champions League title, a La Liga championship, and Copa del Rey title during his stay with Los Blancos. But most of the time he has found himself on the bench and he has minimum contribution in each of the trophies won.
La Liga giants no longer want to continue with the Wales star. Manchester United is the front runner to acquire his services as they failed to acquire him on previous occasions, but Red Devils will get a tough competition from Chelsea and his former club Tottenham Hotspur.
Welshman star power hasn’t diminished and he is still a prospect of £80 million. He is only 28, and his best is yet to come, but his injury prone status makes him a gambling bet for such huge transfer price.
