Vinicius Jr, 16-year-old Flamengo star grabbed the eyebowl of Barcelona and Real Madrid last season, and Real wins the race to sign the Brazilian teenager for €45 milllion. Once again both Spanish giants have an eye on Flamengo star – Lincoln Correa, who is currently finding the limelight in India playing for Brazil U-17 team in FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017.
Sport reports, “Lincoln, 16, has shown his eye for goal at the tournament. Barca have been alerted to him, but Real Madrid have an ace up their sleeve which could knockout the Catalan’s interest. It could be a repeat of Vinicius Jr. case, also of Flamengo, who ended up signing for Madrid.”
Flamengo forward has contract with the club till 30-10-2018, and it’s best time for Real Madrid or Barcelona to get in touch with the club to acquire the services of Lincoln. Lincoln along with Paulinho, Alan and Brenner is currently getting all the limelight in India in absence of Vinicius Jr.
Brazil is expected to lift the FIFA U-17 World Cup trophy for the fourth time if they progressed all the way from the knockout stages. They’ll play Honduras for a place in quarterfinals on Wednesday to book their place alongside Ghana, Spain, England, Mali, USA, Iran and Germany.
Lincoln is going to play a big role in Brazil’s journey to the final if they reach to the later stage and Barcelona or Real Madrid couldn’t afford to miss a talent like that coming from Brazil.
