Pavard has signed a new deal with the club in December which extended his stay at the club until June 2021. Stuttgart manager Michael Reschke told Sport Bild, “Pavard have become hot prospect since he scored against Argentina. There are interests and requests from big European clubs for Benji, but we’re not going to sell him this summer for even €50 million. We want to stay with him.”

The reason behind Pavard’s pursuit is not only his unlikely goal against Argentina. It’s his utilization as a player. He is a utility player who can play in different roles. At Stuttgart he has played as right-back, centre-back, defensive midfielder, and right winger before finally settling as central defender under coach Tayfun Korkut.
Pavard is currently filling as right-back for France national side. He’ll be a great asset for any side if they’ll have him. Now, it has been revealed he has a knack of scoring goal as well. It has only increased his demand and made him a hot pursuit of big European clubs.
He is going to have a very great career thanks to Didier Deschamps’ France call-up. He only has one season experience at top level playing for Lille before moving to Stuttgart in 2016, where played in second-tier again.
Stuttgart won Bundesliga 2 in his first season and earned promotion to Bundesliga top flight football. Pavard plays every match for Stuttgart and finish 7th on the Bundesliga table missing Europa League berth.
However, player has shown strong interest for playing in Champions League. It’s only a matter of time before he makes a move to UEFA Champions League playing club. He told L’Equipe, “I’ve always said that I want to play Champions League one day, but I appreciate what Stuttgart has given me.”
His current deal with the club doesn’t allow him to make this summer because there is no exit clause for this summer. However, club can negotiate next summer about his possible departure for €35 million.
Stuttgart boss Reschke added, “We’re ready to find a solution for the 1st of July 2019, with a club that works cleanly and correctly with us.”
It’s sure that Benjamin Pavard will be handed a new deal with the club with a bigger release clause. He is on demand and Stuttgart can’t let go that opportunity to cash in this hyped transfer market.
