AS Roma’s sporting director Monchi has already started his summer transfers job. His early hunt started with signing Ante Coric from Dinamo Zagreb. Former Sevilla sporting director is known for his talent hunting and he promises that Coric is one of the emerging talents of European football.
Monchi told the Lupi’s official site as Football Italia reports, “We are delighted to welcome Ante Coric to the club. I believe that with his signing, we have secured one of the emerging talents of European football.”
“I can’t explain what this feeling is like. I just cannot wait to get started.”

“I hope that, with hard work from the player and the guidance of the coach, that talent can develop even further – and we can enjoy his quality for a long time.”
Coric also confirmed his arrival on AS Roma official website. He said, “I am very pleased to be at Roma, one of the biggest European clubs. I have given everything to reach this level, and I can’t wait for the chance to start showing what I’m capable of.”
The Croatian player has signed a five year deal with the Giallorossi. The 21-year-old player switched his club for the transfer price of only €6 million. Monchi is very good with identifying talents at the early stage and hiring players who come as a bargain in this hyped transfer market.
Coric is only 21, but we can say that he is a bargain with only €6 million transfer price. He already has experience of more than 150 games for Dinamo Zagreb senior team. He started early as he made his debut on 16th April 2014 for Zagreb.
Former Dinamo Zagreb player already has three league titles and Croatian Cup under his belt. At the age of 21, he is an accomplished player and he can really help Roma in their title hunt next season.
