Adrien Rabiot to stay at PSG
Adrien Rabiot has been linked to Barcelona, Juventus, AC Milan, and Inter Milan this summer, but reports say that French midfielder will be staying with PSG at the end of his current contract. Rabiot’s current contract with PSG ends on 30th June, 2019.
Le10Sport reports, “While he still hasn’t extended his contract with PSG, Adrien Rabiot consider staying in Paris an extra season … and go free next season.”
RAC1 media also informs, “that goal would obviously be to go free at the end of the season and thus to be able to negotiate freely with the clubs of his choice.”
The Catalan media also confirms Barcelona interest in the player. From the sources of Rabiot’s family, they have confirmed that Barca have sent an offer to the player. PSG officially even announced to sue Barcelona to approach their player directly.
As per transfer rules, you can’t negotiate with a player or his agent directly when he is in contract with the club and it’s not going to expire within next six months.
However, PSG may be likely to offload the player on the transfer deadline day. They know that they are not going to make financial gain on a player who will walk freely next season. They have offloaded Goncalo Guedes to Valencia in order to fulfill the demand of their new manager Thomas Tuchel.
As per City watch official twitter account, Manchester City is also interested in Adrien Rabiot. It says that Manchester City will hold a first meeting with representatives of PSG.

Thomas Tuchel wants two new reinforcements at the club. It will only be possible if club sells their player and abide by the rule of financial fair play. Rabiot may be their last minute sale to occupy their needed reinforcements.
