Paulo Dybala was criticized midweek in Juventus struggle against Real Madrid in Uefa Champions League quarterfinals first-leg. The Argentine playmaker has an off day on the field as Juve loses 3-0 against Real Madrid. He tried to do too much to help his team and in the process end up receiving the red card with 30 minutes of the game left to play. Dybala needed to come back strong leaving behind the midweek game, and he did it in style. He responds to his critics with a hat-trick performance against Benevento earning Juve 4-2 victory.

The referee didn’t see it as a penalty but with the assistance of VAR system, the penalty was awarded. Dybala converted the penalty from the spot to give Juve 2-1 lead.

It took Gonzalo Higuain’s introduction into the game to turn the game in Bianconeri favor. Higuain was tripped down by Nicolas Viola in the penalty area and Dybala got his hat-trick from the spot.
Douglas Costa ends the mess. grabbing Juve’s fourth of the night. Brazilian produces a moment of magic playing in his natural position. He cut inside from the right flank to send a scorching left-foot finish in the top corner.
Dybala hat-trick and Costa’s beauty helped Juve to leave behind the midweek disaster. It also allowed Bianconeri to take the seven-point lead over their nearest rival Napoli. However, Napoli can reduce the lead to four with their victory over Chievo tomorrow.
