Marcelo Brozovic sees Inter Milan’s last gasp victory against Sampdoria and Spurs as turning point
Inter Milan didn’t enjoy a very good spell in the opening weeks of Serie A. They lose against Sassuolo and Parma, played a 2-2 draw against Torino, and only managed victory against Bologna before earning last gasp victory against Sampdoria tonight. Now after two consecutive matches last gasp victories, Marcelo Brozovic sees Inter Milan’s last gasp victory against Sampdoria and Spurs as turning point.
Internazionale won 2-1 in midweek against Tottenham Hotspur after going 1-0 down. It was a late victory as Mauro Icardi leveled the game in 85th minute and Matias Vecino scored the winner in 92nd minute. And today, they found the winner against Sampdoria in 95th minute of the game courtesy of Marcelo Brozovic.

Brozovic delighted after scoring the last gasp winner told DAZN, “It was a difficult game but once again we won at the last gasp and we’re happy. We must continue like this, getting the results.”
He adds as Football Italia reports, “We got a lot of passes wrong in the first-half, but then we improved. I think this week will be the turning point in our season. They are all important matches and we have got to win them all, because that’s what Inter do.”
It’s a brave comment from Brozovic knowing they’ll be up against an in-form team in the midweek. They’ll host Fiorentina in the midweek Serie A fixture, who have won their weekend fixture against SPAL 3-0.
