Juventus registered their biggest win of the season winning 7-0 against Sassuolo to go temporarily at top of Serie A table. Bianconeri goes on top of the table accumulating 59 points from 23 games, whereas Napoli can take the lead again later tonight if they manage to win against Benevento.

It was a one side affair in Turin and Juventus were 4-0 up in the first-half itself. Alex Sandro opened the scoring for the Bianconeri and after that Sami Khedira completed his brace before Miralem Pajnic strike make it 4-0 in first-half itself. Juventus’ most expensive striker Gonzalo Higuain’s had yet to open his account and he came up with a bang in second-half. Pipita scored all three of second-half goals to complete his hat-trick and humiliate Sassuolo 7-0 in a one way affair.
Juventus were going through an injury crisis missing Paulo Dybala, Juan Cuadrado, Douglas Costa and Benedikt Howedes on matchday. Federico Bernardeschi forced to start despite not being fully fit and Andrea Barzagli was pulled out in the warm-up. It looked like it’s going to be difficult for the Old Lady of Turin, but in the end they did well to overcome the visitors.
Napoli is dreaming to end Juventus’ six successive scudetto run intervening in their seventh successive challenge. Partenopei is only two points behind with a game in hand and with a win over Benevento, they can take the lead back.
