Chelsea had a poor season last season along with Arsenal. There is a lot of uncertainty about the club ownership, management change, and amid that player transfers as well. And, Arsenal is ready to write a new chapter post Arsene Wenger era. They have appointed PSG’s outgoing manager Unai Emery as their new boss.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have lose their grip over Premier League top four finish and they’ll be playing next season in Europa League. It gives other opportunity to shine and earn name for themselves and if another London club can manage a better performance this season, they’ll definitely be doing a favour to themselves.

We don’t know what persuaded him to go to China two years back, but he is back where he belongs. West Ham United is seriously going to challenge the big Londoners club with Manuel Pellegrini at their helm.
Premier League was already crowded with big managerial names and appointment of Pellegrini at West Ham just added more competition. Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, Unai Emery at Arsenal, Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur, and new arrival Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea is going to compete for the top four finish, but Rafa Benitez at Newcastle United and Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham United will definitely try to ruin their plans. New arrival Marco Silva at Everton will also increase the competition.
The new Premier League season is certainly going to be exciting. The gap at top is going to be narrowed and how big clubs adapt will be a real challenge. West Ham United is certainly going to challenge the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur for their place as a big London club.
West Ham United’s home ground was re-located to London Stadium in 2016 because it holds a special place in their fans heart. If you want to be big London club, you’ll have to own the name London. London Stadium just do that for them.
