Mohamed Salah was ignored at Chelsea as he finished with only 19 appearances for Blues before making a move to AS Roma. Once Premier League’s liability for his club, Salah returned to Premier League as he found love for Anfield giants Liverpool. Now, he is earning applauds at Liverpool with every game forward.

Liverpool finds a new star every season

It’s only November and player has found the net 14 times. His latest double against Southampton in 3-0 victory earned him more followers at Anfield. Egyptian Messi scored a 18 yard curler high into the net to give Liverpool a perfect start at half hour mark.

Mo Salah’s second came with Philippe Coutinho and his combined effort. Coutinho threaded a perfect pass for Salah who made a timely run to add second of the evening. It gave Liverpool 2-0 lead before the half-time against Saints.

Liverpool’s coach Jurgen Klopp described it as, “The first goal – wow. I have nothing to do with the goal and the second was the fantastic pass and Mo Salah makes the great runs. We could have scored more often but it was a perfect day for us.”

Coutinho was quick to add Liverpool’s third with his 12 yards effort. The Brazilian attacker was directly involved in 14 of his last 15 league appearances for the club. His continuity with the Anfield giants is still a doubt with his continuous linkup with Barcelona, but he continues to entertain Liverpool’s crowd.

He may end up a move away in January transfer window, but Liverpool doesn’t need to worry much. They have found their new star in Mo Salah as he continues to flourish his career at Anfield. It’s only his first season at the club and he is breaking records set by the Liverpool’s great.

He breaks Robbie Fowler 8 goals haul in 12 league starts scoring his 8th and 9th against Southampton on Saturday. He also managed to record 14 goals in all competition for Liverpool with his double, which no player has managed since Luis Suarez has left the club.

Salah earned a warm reception by Anfield’s crowd, when he was substituted at 80th minute. His fan following is increasing with every game and he is improving his finishing ability with every game. He is Liverpool’s next star and he is certainly going to finish with 30 goals this season, and he may break even Luis Suarez’s 2013/14 tally of 31 Premier League goals.
