Mohamed Salah is making sure that no Premier League records left unbroken in his exceptional debut campaign. Liverpool star scored the winner for Liverpool against Crystal Palace to earn a 2-1 victory. Crystal Palace had the lead at Selhurst Park through Luka Milivojevic 13th minute strike. Reds were on backfoot but Sadio Mane earns an equalizer in 49th minute. Going gets tough and Salah came up with the winning goal in 85th minute to break new Premier League record.
It made sure that Reds winning run at their former hoodoo ground won’t end this season. Liverpool hadn’t won a single match in their six visits to Eagles before their winning run start in Feb 2015. Now they have maintained a three consecutive victory and they couldn’t afford to end their run here. Salah knew he has to put on his A-game and he delivered at the end.
21 – Mohamed Salah has now scored in the joint-most Premier League games in a single 38-match season (also Robin van Persie 2012-13 and Cristiano Ronaldo 2007-08). Solid. #CRYLIV

Liverpool forward earns his 29th Premier League goal of the season and 37th in all competition. It also put him on the level with Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin Van Persie to score in 21 games in 38 games’ long season. Ronaldo and Van Persie both scored in 21 games in 2007/08 and 2012/13 season respectively for Manchester United. Now, Salah has equaled them with six games left in his bags. He can easily break the previous record held by both stars. He also equals Didier Drogba tally of 29 goals in a season to equal record of most goals scored by an African in a Premier League season.
Salah now have only one record in mind to beat former Liverpool star Luis Suarez’s 31 goal tally. Suarez scored 31 goals for Liverpool in his 2013/14 campaign. Salah has six games to beat Suarez record and the way he is going it doesn’t seem impossible. He can even eye for Alan Shearer and Andy Cole’s 34 goal tally in a season.
