Eden Hazard drops hint of leaving Chelsea next summer

Hazard has 18 months left in his contract with Chelsea, and he is ready to listen to an offer next summer. He told Canal Plus as The Guardian reports, “For now I’m staying at Chelsea. I have one year left in June. If I don’t extend, it is possible. I can’t see myself leaving in January. I wouldn’t do that to the club, to the fans.”
He added, “Next summer it’s a possibility, but it’s also possible that I spend the rest of my career at Chelsea.”
Chelsea hero has been linked with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain heavily in the past, but no.10 has cleared the air that he’s not interested in moving to Ligue 1 giant.
He said, “There has been contact in the past with PSG but I haven’t been tempted. If I have to go back to France one today, it would be to Lille. But today, there is no chance that I’ll come back in the French league.”
However, Hazard is clear about his liking for Real Madrid. He told BeIN Sport in July after World Cup, “I think Real Madrid is everyone’s dream. Zidane or no Zidane, white shirt is special.”
Then, he also added, “After six wonderful years at Chelsea, it might be time to discover something different. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision. For my career, certainly after this World Cup, I’m at a moment where I might change.”
He is playing his ploy. Now, it’s on Chelsea, whether they want to lure him with a better contract or see him going elsewhere handing them a huge sum of money from his transfer fee.
Hazard’s mind is getting unstable. He was happy a month ago, when things were going well under Maurizio Sarri. Now, Chelsea have dropped to fourth place on points table after their first defeat of the season against Tottenham Hotspur.
