Daniel Sturridge deny Eden Hazard to hurt Liverpool again
You don’t want to lose two successive games against the same opponent specially knowing that you have made an impression of invincible team of the season. Liverpool entered into the Carabao Cup tie midweek with seven successive victories into this new season and they were eliminated by Chelsea thanks to Eden Hazard’s brilliance. Three days later, they were up against the same menace and they were saying not again and yet the same man almost took three points them with his another brilliance. Thankfully, Daniel Sturridge came to Liverpool rescue showing his brilliance in added minutes forcing Chelsea to share the spoil at Stamford Bridge.
Daniel Sturridge goal was bae 😍. Too many wasteful chances for Liverpool. Chelsea can’t do without Hazard – too bad. Finally, Alison is better off than Keppa.

It was a great game enjoyed by both sides’ fans. Liverpool can be said that they were better team of the evening but Chelsea were best with their man in-form upfront in Eden Hazard. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, and Firmino were wasteful with their opportunity were as Eden Hazard was quick to remind Liverpool’s defense that they are not unbreakable.
You can’t legislate for Sturridge’s screamer but it was the least Liverpool deserved. Klopp would have been distraught if they’d managed to lose both of those games given the balance of chances #cfc #lfc

Mateo kovcic provided a brilliant through ball to the Belgian and he was quick with his dribble to get past Trent Alexander-Arnold and other two defenders to strike for Chelsea. Within 25 minutes Chelsea had the much needed lead at Stamford Birdge.
It doesn’t mean Liverpool were poor, they had the better share of possession and chances, they just didn’t make the most of their opportunity. Mohamed Salah could have an equalizer as he beats Blues’ goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga but Antonio Rudiger came to rescue blocking his shot near post.
In second-half, Kepa denied Sadio Mane blocking his effort only to serve as a corner ball. Then Shaqiri, Salah’s substitute man failed to convert and easy chance. He also has opportunity from a free-kick in his zone but it wasn’t his dead.

Daniel Sturridge came to Liverpool’s rescue with his brilliant strike in 92nd minute. He scored a 25-yard screamer to deny Eden Hazard hurt Liverpool twice in the same week. His screamer not only earned Liverpool a point to share the table topper position with Manchester City who sits at the top of the table with better goal difference but helped Liverpool save their image as a title favourite alongside Manchester City.
The draw is a good result for Premier League fans as they will witness another table topper clash next week when Liverpool will host Manchester City. Both sides will enter into the game with same point and winner will take the pole position at Premier League’s summit.
