Alexis Sanchez move to Manchester United will complete today as reported in every English newspaper. Manchester United are ready to employ the player at Old Trafford with an staggering £180 million deal. As per revelation, the Chilean forward will earn £27 million per year at United. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is not happy with the Chilean move away from Emirates, but he is not concerned as well.
Wenger believes Sanchez move to United won’t hurt Gunners fans as much as Robin Van Persie’s transfer. Goal reports as Wenger describes, “We took Van Persie when he played in the reverse team at Feyenoord. We made a long work with him. When you get there and, after they leave, that is the most painful.”
“Our fans know Alexis will not extend – they have accepted that idea and the fact it will not be one-way traffic. It will be the other way traffic as well and that makes the whole thing bit a smoother, maybe a bit less disappointing. We lose a player, yes, but we could gain another player. I think one would replace the other”.
Arsenal is moving ahead with their transfer negotiations to land up Borussia Dortmund’s star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Wenger is not a big fan of splashing out millions for a fine player and handing him the authority to negotiate a deal.
Sanchez with his £27 million a year offer at Manchester United will become Premier League’s best paid player. And, Gunners’ boss believes that transfer window is nearer to offer a player £1 million per week to lure away from his existing club.
He said, “you can’t rule out anything. We arrive to a level where the money for players who are free is so big, and the transfers so big, that the players think, it’s better I go to the end of my contract.”
Wenger comments makes clear, he is still the boss at Arsenal. Gunners’ fans will hope to see a better player arriving at Emirates and if Aubameyang lands up, Sanchez move away won’t hurt them much.
