Isco Alarcon scored his first career hat-trick against Argentina in an international friendly on Tuesday. Real Madrid’s frustrated man always comes back to life when he wears Spain national team shirt. He took a jibe on Zinedine Zidane after scoring his hat-trick for the national side as he said I’m a problem for Real Madrid.
Isco said in his post-match, “In Madrid, I don’t have the confidence a player needs. The matches with the national team give me life, here I have the confidence of the coach. I want to show that I’m a good player.”
Isco: “I have the confidence of the coach of the national team, It is true that in Madrid I don’t have the continuity that a footballer needs but perhaps the problem is me that I have not known how to earn it, I want to keep on working.” pic.twitter.com/waHsVcs6WO

He adds, “Lopetegui [Spain coach] shows me confidence with the minutes he gives me. Maybe I’m the problem in Madrid. I don’t know how to win Zidane’s confidence.”
It’s true that Zinedine Zidane doesn’t like him much. Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez are picked up ahead of him when it comes to Real Madrid. Despite Isco’s regular performance whenever he gets the chance, he has been sidelined at Madrid’s bench.
Spain coach Lopetegui himself has admitted that Isco needs more playing time. He told as Marca reported, “Isco is an important player for the national team. It’s important that he performs, but I won’t judge a colleague [Real Madrid’s coach Zinedine Zidane].”
Isco has proved time and again his potential whenever he gets the chance to perform. It’s difficult to solidify your position in such a competitive Real Madrid squad, but Las Blancos haven’t done justice to Isco. He deserves more playing time and Zidane himself has admitted that. The only problem is he hasn’t been able to offer him the time he promised.
