Germany earns a flying start in their World Cup qualifying campaign
Germany started their title defending journey of World Cup against Norway in world cup qualifying match. Germany outplayed Norway winning it 3-0, but it can’t be taken as a routine win for Germany who had struggled in their Euro 2016 qualifiers. But, the good news is their star striker Thomas Muller is back in touch and he served himself a brace to start another world cup campaign with a bang.
Müller scored his 33 and 34 international goals for Germany which came after a long time for him, as he has struggled to find the net in recent times. And his Bayern colleague Joshua Kimmich scored as well to made it a relaxing evening in front of 26,793 spectators at Ullevaal Stadion. The DFB selection sets the eliminatory in October with two home games in Hamburg against the Czech Republic and in Hannover against Northern Ireland.
Thomas Müller found it all quite normal. His double to kick off the World Cup qualifier against Norway did not want to overstate the DFB jersey a whole EM summer long scoreless Bayern player. “You can prepare yourself, you can hold on, sometimes you’re lucky and take a right decision, the ball has to come. But I have never doubted the fundamental quality of my statements.” Muller told Sports Bild.
As a striker really about who has a lot of bad luck, described Oliver Bierhoff.”Thomas Müller indeed always says the goals are not important to him. But that is why I am happy anyway because he is someone who can decide the game “, the team manager and ex-attacker emphasized by Muller’s goals number 33 and 34 in the national jersey.
As soon as it comes to the World Cup, the 26 year old is there. The zero-goal record of EM certainly rankled him. World tournaments are obviously more his thing. 2010 and 2014 he met five times in the finals. Now he put towards Russia los. Germany coach Joachim Loew has not escaped: “It is again WM-time World Cup qualifiers. He meets regularly anyway. I think the first goal was after a long time makes it easier for the national team him.”
