South Korea’s U-16 team coach Kim Jung Soo heaped great praise for India U-16 before their AFC U-16 quarter-finals clash

Indian fans are worried about India U-16 team chances against South Korea in AFC U-16 quarter-finals clash, knowing South Korea have scored 12 goals in their group games. We are considering it as a mismatch. You can even say, it’s a David Vs Goliath, but we should never forget that our young colts haven’t conceded a goal in the tournament. Even opposition coach heaped a great praise for India U-16 team.

South Korea’s U-16 team coach Kim Jung Soo said in the official pre-match press conference as ArunFoot reports, “India deserves to be in the quarter-final stages and each team that has qualified for the quarterfinals should be considered as favourites.”

He adds, “Each and every team has prepared under the same circumstances, but the Indian team has done well for themselves in the group stages. The Indian defence line does its job well and I give them credit for keeping three clean sheets in the three matches of the group stages.”

Indian U-16 team should take great motivation from their opposition camps’ praise. They don’t need to fear them if they have scored 12 goals in their last three games. Bibiano Fernandes team should take great pride in reaching quarter-finals and play freely in the same manner they have played up till now.

Indian Colts have maintained three clean sheets, they can back themselves for keeping another one. Yes, it will be difficult knowing opposition abilities and missing their backbone in Bikash Yumnam due to suspension but they have to put a great leap of faith in themselves.

Young Indian side will be playing at Petaling Jaya Stadium on Monday, at 6:15pm. Our Indian Colts need supports and be proud to be an Indian. #FanBannaPadega
