Kylian Mbappe become the first player in Uefa Champions League history to score in his first four knockout matches
AS Monaco forward, Kylian Mbappe is flying high with his latest developments in the Uefa Champions League. The 18-year-old French international become the first player to score in his first four Champions League knockout games on Wednesday with his opener in quarterfinal second leg against Borussia Dortmund. There are reports in Spain that he is highly like to make a move to Real Madrid in the summer.
Mbappe has five goals to his name this season in Champions League, and all of them have come in knockout stages. He scored a goal in each leg against Manchester City in last 16 tie, and then helped himself with a brace in quarterfinal first leg against Borussia Dortmmund. But, he didn’t stop there despite leading his team to 3-2 away results, he scored in return leg at home as well.
The flying Frenchman has world at his feet, and it’s no surprise if Real Madrid wants to player to bring to Santiago Bernabeu as their next galactico star. Diario Gol reports, Los Blancos club President Florentino Perez very eagerly wants Mbappe to become a Merengues, but the teenager has some insane demands.
Kylian Mbappe insane demands to sign for Real Madrid
Transfermarkt rate player as only 10 million player, but Merengues President has no objection to spend 100 million on the Principality club player. Money is not a concern for the Real Madrid, but the demands of a player who is only 18 to be rated only lesser than Cristiano Ronaldo in gala XI is somewhat insane.
Kylian wants a world record transfer, and in terms of wages only eager to receive lesser than the Ronaldo. He also wants Real to manage their biggest media and publicity event for his signing, and only behind Portuguese star until he leaves Concha Espina.
Mbappe also wants a guaranteed place in starting lineup, which is difficult for a new comer to gain in Madrid lineup. However, neither the club nor the player has agreed on terms and Monaco’s Sporting Director, Antonio Cardon has denied any such reports.
Asked if Madrid have been in contact, Cordon said: The truth is they haven’t. “I hope that Mbappe continues with us for a long time and gives us many great nights of football. He is a player that has had an important progression and has deserved it. He is going strong.”
“There are many factors to consider in order for a player to succeed. He is still very young. We will see what happens this summer – we expect it to be a long one. I hope he stays for the good of Monaco, but we know how the market works and what football is like. He has a clause and it’s a quite lot of money. I don’t know exactly how much, but it’s a lot.”
It gives us a clue, if Real Madrid wants Kylian Mbappe to play at Santiago Bernabeu, they’ll have to spend huge amount of money, and potentially another 100 million on a player.
