Barcelona sporting director Roberto Fernandez watched Spurs talent against Real Madrid

Christian Eriksen, Davinson Sanchez and Dele Alli was on Roberto Fernandez’s watchlist

Tottenham Hotspur played a good game against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night, and to witness the talent of English Premier League team Barcelona’s sporting director Roberto Fernandez had a close watch. Fernandez was available in Bernabeu crowd to watch Spurs talent against Real Madrid. Spurs played 1-1 draw against Merengues thanks to an own goal by Raphael Varane in first-half, only to be equalized by Cristiano Ronaldo before the end of first-half.

Spanish daily Sport reports, “Roberto Fernandez was in Santiago Bernabeu to watch three Spurs’ players that have interested Barca in the past. Players include Christian Eriksen, Davinson Sanchez, and Dele Alli.”

Spurs gave a headache to Merengues at Santiago Bernabeu

Christian Erikson came close to scoring another for his team, but Keylor Navas made a great save to deny the Danish playmaker. He almost had assisted Harry Kane for a sitter, but Spurs striker’s strike was parried away by Navas as well.

Eriksen is 25-year-old and he’ll be a good prospect for Barcelona, if Coutinho deal doesn’t get finalized in January transfer window. Sport adds that some reports suggests that Barca have already began negotiations over a possible deal and a deal hasn’t been ruled out in the event Liverpool continue to block all moves for Coutinho.

Davinson Sanchez, 21-year-old centre-back was another man in limelight. Colombian player has shown tremendous credential moving from Atletico Nacional to Ajax last season, and within a year finds his place in Tottenham Hotspur playing XI.

Dele Alli was on Roberto Fernandez’s watch as well, although Spurs midfielder was suspended for the match. He might have fancy catching his skills in pre-match training on the pitch. However, he is also on watch list of Real Madrid along with his teammate Harry Kane.
