Hoffenheim opened their account after Bayern Munich’s slaughtering
Bayern Munich gave Hoffenheim a lesson last week. Hoffenheim felt they were up for Bayern Munich challenge after finishing third on points table last season, but they’re slapped straight on the face. Bavarian giants slaughtered them 3-1, but it was doesn’t mean they can’t see off Freiburg. Hoffenheim opened their account with the same margin against Freiburg.
Hoffenheim haven’t had a bad start of the season. Whereas Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund struggled in their DFB Pokal’s first round, Hoffenheim run a 6-1 riot over FC Kaiserslautern. Joelinton scored a hat-trick and along with him Nico Schulz, Pavel Kaderabek, and Joshu Brenet also found themselves on the scoresheet.
Only they were unlucky to start their new Bundesliga campaign against the Bavarian giants. They had no match to Bundesliga six time running champion. However, their Hungarian striker Adam Szalai didn’t allow Bayern to start with a cleensheet. He did scored the equalizer after Thomas Muller gave lead to Bayern Munich.
Szalai continuing on to his good star of the campaign scored a brace against Freiburg to earn victory for his team. Dominique Heintz gave lead to Freiburg in first-half, but Szalai strikes twice in second-half to make sure his team leave behind the defeat suffered against Bayern Munich. Andrej Kramaric continuing on with his good World Cup with Croatia completed the scoring for Hoffenheim in added-time.
