TSG Hoffenheim continues with their unbeaten home run of the current Bundesliga season as they beat league leader Bayern Munich 1-0 at Rhein-Neckar Arena. It is Hoffeinheim first ever victory over the 26 time Bundesliga record winner Bayern. Bavarians victory would have handed them their fifth straight Bundesliga title as they go 16 clear on points table with only seven matches left to play. But, Hoffenheim forced Bayern to wait for their fifth straight Bundesliga title to another week. Andrej Kramaric scored the only goal of the match in 21st minute to hand the host victory and goes within a point difference to second placed RB Leipzig.
Hoffenheim already has a record in Bundesliga of playing 17 successive unbeaten games and with victory over Bayern, they are on verge of finishing the season without a defeat at home. They only need to survive three home games left against Borussia Monchengladbach, Eintracht and Augsburg to remain unbeaten at home in Bundesliga season 2016/17.

It left Carlo Ancelotti side fuming over their second defeat of the Bundesliga season, as they forced to delay their fourth title defending. If Bavarians have had won the match, they may have been handed their fifth successive Bundesliga title next week at home. RB Leipzig sits at second trailing by 13 points, but it could have been extended to sixteen with a victory. Now, Bayern title defending is pushed for another week as challenger Leipzig is still to play their fixture tomorrow against Mainz.
Leipzig victory will inches them closer to the Bavarians to make it ten-point gap, and they may fancy a chance of title with another Bayern setback, which awaits them at Allainz Arena next week. Bundesliga leader will be hosting fourth placed Borussia Dortmund, who also won their midweek fixture 3-0 against Hamburger. It makes Der Klassiker more enjoying because there is still time for the Bundesliga title challenge.
Borussia Dortmund victory in Der Klassiker on Saturday will brought them within 12 points of Bayern. Six matches left to play after that may give title challengers Leipzig, Hoffenheim and Dortmund hope to do the unimaginable and win the Bundesliga crown.
